30-year-old male model Eric Zentner was killed in a hit-and-run incident. Zetner was well known for modeling high-end labels such as Versace, appearing in Vogue, and appearing in Katy Perry‘s “Hot N Cold” music video.

Zentner, who was on his way to visit his mother on Saturday in Gold River, California reportedly ran out of gas outside of Santa Barbara.

According to California Highway Patrol, “he exited the vehicle and began walking,” California Highway Patrol Officer Cliff Powers said. “We believe at some point he crossed the road east.”

Authorities believe the motorist was driving a light blue Dodge Caravan from the mid-1990s.
