Anorexic Model Dies in Sleep

Bethaney Wallace, just 19 years old, started modeling at a young age. At just 12-years-old, Wallace appeared on the covers of Girltalk and Popgirl. However, like so many girls in the industry, Wallace succumbed to eating disorders at 16.

Wallace became so sick from the disease, she had to quit working. Tragically, the 19-year-old died in her sleep on April 18.

Wallaces’ parents say the story is all the more tragic because their daughter seemed to be over-coming her condition. 5′ 3″ Wallace was down to just 84 lbs.
