Apparently, it was up to the ladies to kill the turkeys back then, with their good looks of course (wink, wink). Here we have Miss Ohio 1949 Flo Bondi promoting the film The Pirates of Capri.

The Ab Fab Girls Take in the Olympics

Absolutely Fabulous duo Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley bring their usual hilarity in this video by talking about carrying the Olympic torch and drinking a little “Olympic branded ginger pop”. They also share their feelings on their outfits that were given to them…feelings that I can agree with.

Blake Lively Covers Marie Claire

Blake Lively is on the July issue of Marie Claire and per usual looks hot.The Gossip Girl star wears Balmain on the cover, and a variety of gorgeous threads in the spread including Jenny Packham and Dolce & Gabbana. Just to make us a little more jealous of Lively, she apparently styles herself for red carpet events, or, “half-styles”.

“My assistant will call fashion houses for me, but I always pick the outfit, shoes, jewelry, and a lot of times, I do my own hair and makeup for events. Sometimes I think, God, why do I do this to myself? It’s so much extra work!”

So why do it?

“Because I love fashion. It’s such an expression of self. I often see people and they look great, but I can identify who styled them. Every stylist has a signature. Maybe it sounds jerky, but I’m lucky to be on such a fashion-centric show [Gossip Girl]. There’s no designer I don’t have access to.”
